Beaker by THIX is an educational chemistry simulation app where the player uses a mobile device as a virtual beaker. The app does not have a story, characters, missions, or a campaign. Instead, it works as an interactive lab where the user can add chemicals, mix substances, apply heat, shake the device, and observe reactions. The main goal is to experiment safely and see how different materials behave without using a real laboratory.

Virtual Chemistry Setup

The gameplay is based on adding chemicals into the beaker and testing how they react. The app includes liquids, solids, and gases, with around 150 chemicals available for experiments. The player can place substances into the container, heat them with a burner, ignite them with a match, or shake the device to speed up reactions. When reactions happen, the app can show the related chemical equations, so the user can connect the visual result with the scientific process.

Tools and Experiment Options

Beaker by THIX does not have regular levels. There are no stages to complete in order and no final boss or score system. Progress comes from trying different combinations and learning which reactions are possible. The app includes tools such as Match, Lid, Burner, Blender, Cooler, Separator, Filter, and Meter. Some tools are used for simple actions, while others help with more controlled experiments.

The main actions in the app include:

  •         adding chemicals into the virtual beaker;
  •         heating substances with the burner;
  •         igniting materials with the match tool;
  •         shaking the device to accelerate reactions;
  •         using the lid to control the container;
  •         filtering or separating mixtures;
  •         monitoring reactions with the meter tool.

Interaction and Learning

To use Beaker by THIX, the player selects chemicals and adds them to the beaker by tapping or holding. After that, they can use tools to change the experiment. For example, heating water can make it boil, adding sodium to water can create fire, and mixing silver nitrate with sodium chloride can create a precipitate. The app also supports AirMix, which allows nearby devices to pour chemicals between each other, though this feature requires connection and location services.

Beaker by THIX is not a traditional game with enemies, racing, upgrades, or puzzle levels. It is closer to a virtual lab for chemistry practice. The user decides what to test, watches the reaction, and resets the beaker by pouring the contents out. The app is suitable for users who want a simple way to explore chemical reactions, lab tools, and basic chemistry concepts through interactive simulation.
