Bloodmoney Requiem turns a simple money-making deal into the central problem of the entire game. The protagonist needs $25,000 for a medical operation and meets Harvey Harvington, who agrees to pay for every click made on him. What begins as a slow way to collect cash can quickly become more extreme once the player discovers the shop and its increasingly harmful tools. The story is shaped by how much damage the player is willing to cause in exchange for faster progress toward the required amount.
The game is played almost entirely through mouse interactions. Harvey remains the main focus of the screen, while the player repeatedly clicks him to earn money and opens the shop when enough cash has been collected. There is no open world, free movement, or conventional combat. Instead, the tension comes from deciding whether to continue with low-value interactions or buy stronger tools that produce more money per click.
Every purchase changes the pace of the run. More powerful tools make it easier to reach the financial target, but Harvey’s dialogue, appearance, and reactions also change as the situation becomes more severe. The player is therefore balancing efficiency against the consequences of each new method.
The main activities include:
There are no traditional levels or separate stages to complete. Progress is measured through money earned, tools unlocked, and choices made during the run. Different strategies can produce different outcomes, so replaying the game is necessary to see all available endings and alternate reactions. The structure is short and focused, with most of the variation coming from player behavior rather than from changing locations.
Bloodmoney Requiem includes a rebuilt version of the original BLOODMONEY! alongside the newer Requiem campaign. The remake updates the presentation while keeping the same basic clicker setup, whereas Requiem adds more story material and additional outcomes. Both campaigns are centered on the same core mechanic of earning money through repeated interaction with Harvey, but the consequences depend on how aggressively the player pursues the $25,000 goal.
