Deadcam places you in the middle of a failed paranormal investigation that has spiraled into a fight for survival. A small crew of ghost hunters, hoping to save their fading TV show, locked themselves in an abandoned rural house to record a new episode. Almost immediately, things went wrong. Margo, one of the hosts, began acting in a way that was unnatural and threatening. The producer, Dom, fled the scene and sealed the exits to contain her inside. Unfortunately, you were left trapped with her, and now your only goal is to escape before she finds you. The house itself feels like a cage, and every sound you make could be the one that leads her to you.

Learning The Layout

The house is large but suffocating, with narrow hallways, uneven floors, and poorly lit rooms. Moving through it requires caution, as the wrong step on a creaky floorboard can alert Margo instantly. Your main tool for survival is her live headcam feed, showing her facial expressions and reactions in real time. This allows you to predict her movements and judge when it is safe to move. At the same time, the constant presence of her face on the screen keeps the tension high, reminding you that she is always nearby and always hunting. Navigating the house becomes a game of memorizing routes, using cover wisely, and keeping noise to a minimum.

Essential Survival Tasks

To make it out alive, you must complete a series of critical actions:

  •         move quietly to avoid detection
  •         hide in closets, behind furniture, or in dark corners
  •         monitor Margo’s headcam feed for danger signals
  •         gather keys and tools to open locked passages
  •         pay attention to the raccoon’s hints for safer routes

Each task supports the others, and failing in one can quickly lead to being caught. The raccoon may seem like an odd ally, but its subtle guidance can point you toward safer paths or alert you to incoming danger.

Reacting To Unpredictability

Margo does not follow a fixed routine. Her movements are shaped by the sounds you make and the actions you take. She may linger in certain areas, double back unexpectedly, or block paths you thought were safe. This unpredictability means you must stay alert at all times and be ready to change your route instantly. Sometimes it is safer to wait in hiding for minutes at a time, while other moments call for a fast, quiet dash to the next safe area.

You must think ahead, remain calm under pressure, and use every clue the environment gives you. Whether you make it to the exit or become part of a lost and unfinished episode depends entirely on your ability to stay one step ahead of Margo’s pursuit.
