Flowframes is a Windows program for video frame interpolation. It is not a game, so it does not include a storyline, playable characters, enemies, quests, or levels. The program is used to create extra frames between existing video frames. This allows the user to convert a video with a lower frame rate into a file with smoother motion and a higher FPS value.

From Source Video to New Frames

The main purpose of Flowframes is to process video files. The user adds a video, chooses how many frames per second the final result should have, and starts the interpolation process. The software analyzes movement between the original frames and generates new frames in between them. Because of this, the final video can look more fluid than the source file.

Settings Instead of Levels

Flowframes does not have level progression. The workflow is based on technical settings rather than game stages. The user controls the result by changing the interpolation model, output FPS, video format, and processing options.

The program can be used to:

  •         increase video FPS;
  •         create smoother motion;
  •         choose an AI interpolation model;
  •         process clips with GPU support;
  •         export a new video file;
  •         adjust output format and quality;
  •         compare the result with the original video.

Models and Processing

Flowframes supports AI-based interpolation methods such as RIFE, DAIN, and FLAVR, depending on the version and available setup. The processing speed depends on the computer, the video resolution, the selected model, and the length of the file. A short low-resolution clip will usually finish faster than a long high-resolution video.

How the User Works With It

To use Flowframes, the user opens the program, imports a video, selects the target frame rate, and chooses the interpolation method. After checking the export settings, the user starts processing and waits for the new file to be created. There is no final mission or ending. The task is complete when the converted video has been saved and can be played or edited further.
