The gameplay in Hello Neighbor Prototype revolves around breaking into the Neighbor’s house and searching for ways to unlock the basement. Players explore rooms, collect keys, move objects, and interact with environmental puzzles while trying not to alert the Neighbor. Different items such as crowbars, lockpicks, and keycards are required to access blocked areas and continue progressing through the house.
