Incredibox Evadare began with a short teaser released on September 5, 2021, introducing early versions of characters like Lanturi and Jacko. At that stage, the visual style was still evolving, and the sound library was limited to a handful of beats and effects. Some of these early sounds were eventually scrapped or reassigned to different roles within the mod. The first playable demo followed a month later, offering a basic preview of what would become a much larger soundscape. Initial feedback helped guide changes, with several elements redesigned or restructured before the final version.

Sound Expansion and Character Development

New teasers released between January and March 2022 revealed polished versions of both the characters and their sound contributions. Breakermask, Bass, Mumie, and Clock were added across these updates, leading to a more complete experience. The full version of Evadare launched on April 30, 2022, including a wide array of beats, effects, melodies, and voices. Each sound plays a role in shaping the dark, rhythmic tone of the mod. Extra sound assets like Organ and Umbra were introduced later to provide additional layering possibilities, while Skel, Agatha, and Samara brought variety to melody and vocal structure.

Ongoing Growth and Milestones

Following its release, Evadare quickly gained popularity within the modding space, becoming the most downloaded Incredibox mod as of November 2022, with over 155,000 downloads. It later expanded into a second chapter titled Evadare: Xrun. The series continued to evolve, with a trailer for related merchandise released on October 8, 2023, marking the mod’s second anniversary. Players interested in building custom tracks with the Evadare sound library can download the mod through the official IncrediRem platform, where other related content is also available.
