Life Gallery is a psychological horror puzzle game where players progress through a collection of interactive paintings connected by a dark narrative. The story is presented through surreal illustrations instead of traditional dialogue and cutscenes. Each artwork represents a different event, memory, or symbolic moment tied to a family affected by tragedy, religious obsession, and supernatural influence.
The game follows the lives of twin brothers raised inside a deeply unstable household. One child is born with physical disabilities, while the other becomes involved with mysterious rituals connected to a strange cult. As players move through the gallery of paintings, they uncover details about medical experiments, sacrifice, and the growing influence of supernatural forces on the family.
The narrative is intentionally fragmented, encouraging players to interpret events through visual clues and symbolism. Different chapters reveal memories from childhood, moments of violence, and encounters with disturbing figures inspired by religious and artistic imagery. The game gradually connects these scenes into a larger psychological horror story.
Life Gallery combines point-and-click gameplay with environmental puzzles hidden inside hand-drawn illustrations. Main gameplay features include:
Players solve puzzles by manipulating objects, activating mechanisms, and interacting with details inside the artwork. Some puzzles require observation and logical thinking, while others depend on recognizing recurring symbols and patterns connected to the narrative.
The game is divided into multiple chapters, each introducing new artistic themes and gameplay ideas. Some scenes are inspired by classical paintings and historical art styles, but they are transformed into disturbing horror scenarios with interactive elements.
Sound design and visual presentation are central to the experience. Instead of action or combat systems, Life Gallery builds tension through unsettling imagery, ambient sound, and psychological discomfort during exploration. Every chapter introduces more disturbing details about the family and the cult connected to them.
