My Horse Prince is a mobile visual novel and tapping game about a young woman who visits a horse ranch after leaving her office job. She expects to meet ordinary men there, but instead meets Yuuma, a horse with a human face. The game has a clear story, but it is not a traditional adventure campaign. Its plot follows the unusual relationship between the main character and Yuuma through short scenes, conversations, and chapter-based events.
The gameplay is based on reading story scenes and completing simple tapping tasks. In each chapter, the player taps objects that appear on the screen to collect points and fill a progress bar. When the bar is filled, the next part of the story becomes available. The player does not explore a large map or control the character directly. Most interaction happens through tapping, dialogue choices, and stamina management.
In the middle of the game, the player uses a small set of repeated mechanics to move through the chapters. Main gameplay elements include:
My Horse Prince does not use traditional levels with enemies, stages, or puzzles. The game is divided into story chapters, and each chapter presents a new situation involving the protagonist and Yuuma. Progress comes from finishing the tapping meter and reading the next scene. Later chapters continue the relationship story and add new scenes at the ranch or in other unusual situations.
To play My Horse Prince, the player taps the objects shown in the current scene until enough points are collected. If Yuuma’s stamina becomes low, the player starts a conversation and chooses one of the available answers. A better answer restores more stamina, while a poor answer may give less. After stamina is restored, the player continues tapping until the chapter objective is complete.
