Neighbours From Hell is a puzzle and prank-based strategy game where the player controls Woody, a man who secretly enters his neighbor’s house to ruin his daily routine. The game has a clear story setup: Woody is angry at his rude neighbor and becomes the star of a hidden-camera TV show. Each episode takes place inside the neighbor’s home, where the player must set up tricks without being caught.
The gameplay is based on exploration, timing, and using objects in the correct places. Woody can move between rooms, hide in closets or under beds, collect items, and use them to create pranks. The neighbor follows a repeated route through the house, so the player has to watch his movement and act when he is not nearby. Neighbours From Hell uses an episode-based structure. Each episode works like a separate level with a specific house layout, available items, and a set of pranks to complete. The first game takes place mainly in the neighbor’s house, while later content and sequels move the conflict to other locations. The difficulty increases as the neighbor’s routine becomes more complex and more rooms or hazards are added.
To play Neighbours From Hell, the player clicks where Woody should move, collects useful items, and uses them on the correct objects. For example, an item found in one room may be needed to prepare a prank in another room. The player should observe the neighbor’s route before acting, because entering the wrong room at the wrong time can lead to being caught. Hiding spots are important when the neighbor suddenly changes rooms.
Neighbours From Hell is mainly about planning, timing, and environmental puzzles. It has a simple revenge-comedy story, but progress comes from completing episodes, setting up all available pranks, avoiding detection, and earning higher ratings for each level.
