Pokepath is a tower defense game inspired by Pokémon. The player does not control one hero directly. Instead, the main task is to build a team of Pokémon-style units and use them to stop enemy waves. The game has a basic mission structure, but it does not follow a long story with cutscenes or dialogue scenes. The goal is to defend routes, improve the team, and survive stronger waves.

Main Objective

The gameplay is based on route defense. Enemies move along a path, and the player places units in useful positions near that path. Each unit attacks automatically when enemies enter its range. The player needs to think about where to place the team, which units to use, and when to improve them. Losing does not remove all progress, because Pokémon progress can be saved between attempts.

Routes and Progress

Pokepath does not use standard platform levels. Instead, it has different routes that work like defense stages. The game includes 9 routes, and each route has waves of enemies. The player can explore different paths freely and continue improving the team over time. Stronger enemies appear as the run continues, so the player needs better units and better placement.

Team Management

During the game, the player works with several systems:

  •         choosing Pokémon for the team;
  •         placing units along the route;
  •         defeating waves of enemies;
  •         leveling up Pokémon;
  •         evolving Pokémon into stronger forms;
  •         replaying routes to improve progress;
  •         using Auto Mode for farming.

The main strategy comes from team building. Some Pokémon may work better in certain positions or against certain waves. The player has to test different combinations and decide which units should be leveled first. Evolution is also important because it makes Pokémon stronger and helps the team survive later waves.

How to Play

To play Pokepath, the user selects a route, prepares a team, and places units near the enemy path. After the wave starts, the Pokémon attack automatically. The player watches the result, upgrades the team when possible, and repeats routes to collect progress. The game is not about finishing a single storyline. It is about defending routes, improving Pokémon, and using better planning to survive more difficult waves.
