Voices of the Void is a first-person survival horror simulator with sandbox elements. The player controls Dr. Kel, a scientist sent to an isolated signal observatory in the Swiss Alps. The main job is to operate the array, find radio signals from space, process them, and send them to HQ for points. The story is not told through a linear campaign. It develops through daily work, strange events, messages, and unexplained activity around the facility.
The game is built around routine tasks inside and outside the base. The player uses computers, signal equipment, servers, and satellite systems. Signals must be found, downloaded, analyzed, processed, and delivered. The player also needs to keep the base working, because broken systems can stop progress or make tasks harder.
Voices of the Void does not use standard levels. Progress is organized through days, story events, signal work, and exploration. Story Mode events can happen on specific days, while random events may appear during normal play. The player can also explore the forest and nearby structures between work tasks.
During the game, the player needs to:
The gameplay combines technical work with survival management. The player has to eat, sleep, clean the base, order supplies, and use points to buy equipment. The observatory is not the only place to visit. The surrounding area contains satellite dishes, forest paths, objects, and events connected to the larger mystery. Some signals or encounters can reveal unusual details about the world.
To play Voices of the Void, the user starts in the observatory, learns the signal system, and completes daily tasks. The player should find signals, process them, send results to HQ, and keep the equipment repaired. There is no simple level-by-level route. Progress comes from surviving each day, improving the workstation, exploring the area, and understanding what happens around the base.
