XenoFeels places the player in a customs booth on a small asteroid that serves as a checkpoint for travelers approaching their homeworld. Ships arrive one after another carrying tourists, truckers, and other alien visitors, but terrorists may be hidden among them. The player’s job is to inspect every arrival and decide whether the traveler can pass, should be stopped, or represents a threat serious enough to shoot. The story develops around this work, the increasing pressure of the checkpoint, and the consequences of the decisions made during inspections.

Inspect Every Traveler Carefully

Each visitor functions as a separate case. Players compare documents with the alien standing at the window and check whether photographs, physical appearance, vehicle information, license plates, and cargo agree with the supplied records. A traveler may have forged paperwork, a disguise, a fake plate, or prohibited objects hidden inside a vehicle. Strange-looking aliens are not automatically dangerous, so decisions need to be based on inconsistencies rather than appearance alone.

Documents, Vehicles, and Final Decisions

The inspection process includes several repeated tasks:

  • Read the travel documents
  • Compare the photograph with the visitor
  • Inspect the alien’s appearance
  • Check the vehicle
  • Verify the license plate
  • Search the cargo
  • Approve, stop, or shoot the traveler

The same general routine is used throughout the game, but identifying suspicious visitors becomes more difficult as additional cases appear. Making the wrong decision can have consequences for both the traveler and the homeworld, while the game’s psychological elements add pressure to later inspections.

XenoFeels uses workdays rather than conventional action-game levels. In the playable preview, the checkpoint sequence runs from Day 1 through Day 7. The first day introduces the inspection routine, while later shifts bring more travelers and less obvious discrepancies. Day 7 leads into the ending of that version. The full game is designed around choices and multiple outcomes rather than a simple linear stage list.

Surviving the Checkpoint

Successful play depends on following the same inspection order for every arrival and checking evidence before acting. Documents should be compared with the visitor first, followed by the vehicle, plate, and cargo. The shotgun is available for genuine threats, but using it without enough evidence can also be the wrong decision. XenoFeels therefore combines document checking, visual comparison, decision-making, and psychological pressure within the repeated routine of working at the asteroid checkpoint.
