Idle Doodle Realm is an idle strategy game where players manage squads of fantasy units and progress through automated battles. The game combines idle mechanics with RPG progression systems, allowing players to improve their army over time through equipment upgrades, relic collection, and commander development. Battles happen automatically, but preparation and team composition play an important role in determining success during later stages.
Campaign and Battle Progression
The main mode in Idle Doodle Realm is a campaign divided into multiple combat stages. Every region contains different enemies, stronger bosses, and new gameplay mechanics. Players unlock additional races and commanders while advancing through the campaign, gradually expanding the number of possible team combinations.
The story is presented through the world structure and progression system rather than cinematic scenes. Different factions and races compete across fantasy environments filled with hostile creatures and powerful bosses. As players move further into the campaign, enemy formations become more complex and require better synergy between units.
Relics, Talents, and Equipment
A major part of the gameplay revolves around upgrading units and improving combat efficiency. Important gameplay systems include:

Relics can dramatically change how battles work by adding new effects or improving specific strategies. Equipment follows loot mechanics similar to action RPG games. Gear can contain randomized affixes that improve health, damage, critical strikes, and other combat statistics. Unique equipment pieces unlock stronger effects that can influence entire squad builds.
Endless Mode and Long-Term Progression
After completing the campaign, players gain access to Endless Mode. This mode introduces stronger enemies called Super Bosses along with advanced crafting materials and higher-tier rewards. Endless Mode is designed for testing optimized builds and pushing progression systems further.
